Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Porch House, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my high expectations. The charm of this historic hotel is palpable, with cosy rooms that offer stunning village views, complemented by lovely original features that take you back in time. I was particularly impressed by the attentive staff who were consistently friendly, making us feel right at home, and the delightful restaurant served exquisite food that showcased local flavors. The heating in our snug room was incredibly effective, allowing for a warm and comfortable stay despite the chilly weather outside. the thoughtful inclusion of tea and coffee facilities was a perfect touch, making it easy to unwind with a warm cup while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The central location made it a breeze to explore nearby cafes and quaint shops, ensuring our visit to enchanting Stow-on-the-Wold was truly memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend the Porch House to anyone seeking a charming escape steeped in history and outstanding hospitality.
